There are so many competing narratives today, depending on which side of the "political (or cultural) aisle" you sit. But for Christians, it seems like we have lost our narrative--our story--by tainting it or blending it with that of a political party or metanarrative. We don't want to be like Martha distracted by so many things--we want to be like Mary, keeping the main thing the main thing.
