Sanctuary cities: Protecting your family's faith

In our last podcast (Illegal aliens) we compared 1 Peter's 'aliens and strangers' terminology and today's terminology of 'illegal aliens' to employ a metaphor, to discuss how Christians should look and respond to outsiders as people who are not of this world (i.e. aliens and strangers).

In Podcast 17, borrowing the popular term 'sanctuary city', we talk about how believers and the Church should have safe places of refuge in the home or elsewhere. Here we can learn in community, and invite "outsiders" inside for the cause of Christ.

In a hectic world, we need quiet spaces to retool, refresh, and recharge our spiritual batteries. Places where we can help ourselves and others in the Christian community. In today's podcast, Keith and Mark discuss the need for such places and how they might work. Join the conversation!
